It’s here! The first Jeep® truck has been spotted. The all-new 2020 Jeep Gladiator was announced at the Los Angeles Auto Show and adventurers everywhere can’t be more excited.
We know we can’t to have them on hand at David Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM, near Wilmington, DE. The all-new Jeep Gladiator has three trim levels available: Sport, Overland, and Rubicon. It will include either a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 or a 3.6-liter Pentastar engine (expected to be released in 2020). The latter can give you 220 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque.
The truck is paired with the style and power of the Jeep SUVs, including 4×4 capability and traction control, plus 33-inch off-road tires with up to 30 inches of water fording clearance. It also adds the benefits of a truck with Best-in-Class towing and 4×4 payload, with a towing capacity of up to 7,650 pounds and up to 1,600 pounds of payload capacity. The five-foot steel truck bed has integrated tie-downs for any type of load.
The 2020 Jeep Gladiator is no stranger to safety and technology features either. It has over eighty safety and security add-ons, including a forward-facing off-road camera, for extra security on the trail. It also utilizes a seven or 8.4-inch touchscreen for all the extra features you need during your trip. Its Uconnect system includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for smartphone optimization.
